    Version 1.71 Released

    1.71 is available for download.

Our new Punks tab is now available as the second tab in the Social window. The Social window was disabled by default before, so users of previous versions will need to open the options window (/carb options) and check "Use enhanced social window" in the "Social" options page. The Punk list options are also in the Social options page.

The Punks list is for finding enemy players. The list has a top and bottom section divided by a blue "-- Active --" line of text. The top lists the names of enemies you have manually added to the list and when detected you will get a message and the area of the map they were seen at will have a large green glowing circle around it and a red icon near the middle of the area. The bottom of the list shows recent punk detections. Those punk areas will show a red glow on the map. Right click the list for the popup menu. When you use "Add Character" from the menu it will add an enemy player to the top section of the list. If an enemy player is targeted it will use that name, otherwise an edit box will open and be filled with the name of the most recent punk personally detected near you.

very nice but it works only for the opposite faction? would be nice for own faction too then I could remove VanasKOS (friend/hate/kos-list) and maybe you could add the note in the tooltip as well? :) But is it "normal" to see the red circles on map the whole time if you pass a opposite faction player? its a bit annoying and it would be nice to see this only for added players. I have tried it with Monitoring on and off, what exactly does this option do? (it seems that it is saved seperately for each zone)

Currently. What would you want it to do for the same faction? Filter out them in channels? Ignore whispers? The ignore list does that already I think.

    note in the tooltip

    Could try that.

When I'm running around in a contested zone I like to know the moment an enemy player is doing anything around me. I do play on a PVP server. You can set the "Area Size" in Social options from 80 to 0 and you won't get red areas. A punk match shows with a green circle and defaults to "Match area size" of 200.

That adds you to the zone chat channel of whatever zone you right clicked on, so you can see other Carbonite users in that zone and listen for any punks they might detect. You do only have 10 chat channels, so about 5-6 zones is the typical max that you can monitor at a time.

We would never remove that. It can be moved, hidden or minimized, which is probably where yours has gone.

Type /carb options or right click the Carbonite minimap button and left click "Options" will open the Options window. Left click "Quest Watch" from the options page list on the left side. Now make sure "Hide" is not checked in that options page.

If that fails to show it, then typing  /carb resetwin
will get all windows reset to their default locations and visibility.
