I use the full version of the product and play a hunter.  I find tracking unusable with Carbonite.  Am I missing something?  I want to see what I am tracking on the minimap screen.  I read a post about pressing ctrl, but that doesn't do anything for me. Please tell me what I can do to make my tracking work.  That is one of my favorite things about being a hunter.

 Maybe, instead of offering a smaller Version of the World Map, as you do now, you could make the original Minimap reziable/movable/square and place Carbonite Information within the Minimap.

 So we would have the Main Carbonite World Map and the original but enhanced Minimap?

I have a level 70 hunter and tracking works fine on him or any other class of character. I select some type of tracking and I see the colored dots on the minimap frame that is inside the Carbonite map.

You can hold the control key to make the minimap frame draw above the Carbonite map icons, so you can see any dots that might be under an icon.

If the minimap frame is docked to a corner of the Carbonite map, then the dots are always visible, since the icons draw under the minimap frame in that case.

The minimap frame is very crippled, which is why the map works the way it does. You cannot scroll or clip the minimap frame and zooming the area seen is very limited. 

when he says "  I want to see what I am tracking on the minimap screen" he means on the traditional mini map, when your tracking u can mouse over it and see what it is, like name of a person, type of mineral, what animal it is. with carbonite that doesnt work, all it says when u mouse over is the quest area your in. unless theres something i didnt see, i havent been able to work it out either, being able to tell what something is before seeing it is 1 of the best things about being hunter. i will admit i havent tried pressing ctrl, and WoW seems to be down atm, i cant log into the character screen, i can login to the server but not see my chars, once thats up, i will check to see if ctrl fixes that.

There is also a way to invert how the ctrl key works, so it is on top and ctrl makes it draw below the icons. "Minimap is drawn above icons" in "Map Minimap" options page.
