Good morning,

 After the patch this mornning when I logged into the game, I got a popup from Carbonite that said:

 "Carbonite: Data for some items is not available. Retrieve data from server? May cause a disconnect if item not seen on server yet"

Then under that there are two buttons: Get Data and Cancel.

Of course not wanting to get disconnected I chose Cancel. Boom, I'm disconnected. Thinking that perhaps I just didn't hit the Cancel button I logged back in and when the popup came up, I chose Cancel. Boom, I'm disconnected.

After that, I deleted my Cache folder, renamed my Interface and WTF folders, recreated the Interface/Addons folders and placed only Carbonite in the Addons folder (no other addons). I logged into the game and the exact same thing as I stated above happened.

After that, I put everything back to where it was originally with the acception of Carbonite (I removed the addon from the Addons folder), and removed any  Carbonite.lua files from the SavedVariables folder and from each characters SavedVariables folders. Logged back into the game and have not had any more disconnects.

 I got DC'd three times today but only when I was hitting Get Data and not right away it took a few minutes for each DC to happen...When I hit Cancel I was fine and was on for about an hour.

I went ahead and reinstalled Carbonite, and it didn't disconnect me this time when I hit Cancel. Maybe something in my saved settings got borked and it reversed the buttons? Who knows... leave it to me to find the weird crap lol.

I'm still getting that irritating popup when I log in though.

Mine was fine getting the data this afternoon when the servers came up and one guild member I talked to had no problems with it.

You will continue to get that message until all the items in the Warehouse and Visited Vendors get in your cache files on the PC. It can take 10+ minutes for "Get Data" to pull in all the items from the server.

 Oh! Ok, I see. I'm logged in now and hit the Get Data button... so far no disconnects. But, I see what you mean about the icons (like in the Warehouse) having question marks on them... I'm currently watching a lot of them get filled in lol.

It's a new problem from this latest release and was mainly sparked because of the patch that just went up today. It will be fixed, just be a little patient.

Did you try the "Cancel" button like it says? The whole point of the dialog is to prevent disconnects because items are not yet initialized on the server.

The other solution is to delete your WTF\Account\<name>\SavedVariables\Carbonite.lua file, but that will reset everything.
