    Friends on Map

Is there an option to show Friends on the Map and Minimap the same as your guild members? I havae several friends that use Carbonite that are not in my guild that I would like to be able to see without having to party with them.

    Cheers

Hmmm, I set my birthday as 15 Mar 1975 in the about section but its shown as the 16 Mar 1975.

woot!! I get to live an extra day..

Carbonite already shows other Carb users on the map. I don't recall it being a setting you need to turn on but there is a privacy setting that they may have set to not show their location to you.

You need to have each other in your friends list. Carb ignores positions from someone who just puts you on their friends list, so you don't have a yellow dot from some person you don't know who decided to watch you.

OK am I nuts? He said they were Carb users and I see other Carb users I don't even know let alone have in my friends list.

The grey dots are people in your current zone.
The yellow dots are people that are in each other's friends list. Can see anywhere.
The green dots are people that are in your guild. Can see anywhere.

All of the above having Carbonite.

Does this mean there's a way for you to be able to see who has you on their friends list?

    Re: Friends on Map

You could see who has Carbonite *and* has you on their friend list, since their Carbonite mod would be sending you messages that only go to people on their friends list.

As a side note -- Cartographer has a way to share location information with guild members.  Could Carbonite integrate with that?  A lot of my guildies use Cartographer, and I'd like to see their locations on my map, and I'd like to show up on theirs, but I don't use Cartographer any more since Carbonite rocked its socks off... ;)

I would also vote for such an Option!

Cross AddOn compatiblity is always a nice addition. ;)

    This would be awesome

I did the receiving part of it. Took several hours, but it works. I could do the sending, but not today...

Added display of Cartographer guild positions on map.
