Hey fataal, with the wotlk coming soon it is very important to level our characters properly in terms of reputation. What I mean is for example I'm lvl 60 and need CE exalted. One way is to just level normally, doing all quests and end up on 70 CE friendly or something, then invest huge amount of time to try to farm the instances, which on lower populated realms is just a nightmare. The proper solution - I skip all quests that give CE reputation, compensate them with several hours grind (of mobs that give CE rep/rep items), hand in those, end CE revered, level to 70, go back, complete the quests and in just a few instance runs I'm exalted. I made the mistake of not taking into account rep quests on my first char and was deeply sorry for that, done it "properly" on my 2nd, would very much like to not make same mistake for wotlk, with the help of Carbonite ofc :) If Carbonite can warn about quest giving reputation reward with selected faction (instead of wowheading every single one which kinda defeats the carbonite quest db idea), it will be just splendid

Yep, knowing the rep reward of quests would be good, so I added reputation capturing to the quest capture code today. This should enable us to collect reputation amounts and faction when quests are turned in. We will then add it to the database when we get enough data.

would it be possible for you to data mine wowhead for this info. wowhead already has the rep rewards for pretty much all possible quests already recorded.

I believe in one of the old posts he mentions that he cannot use data captured by another site without using the ads for or from that site.  Thus no information about the rep until us users collect it first and email the database back.

 It is not an issue of ads. It is the fact that some or all the data on those websites is copyrighted by them as a collection of data.

The rep collection is in the code. Just a matter of time.
