    GatherMate and GatherMate_Data

    Hello,

I started by adding Carbonite by itself in my addons folder.  Theoretically, I started from a "fresh" WoW install (ie. renamed WTF and Interface folders - for backup purposes).

I must say, pretty neat.  I liked the Quest feature a lot as well as the other features by watching the videos.

I figured this would be the best patch to do this.

I added a few addons that I have been using in the past (plus their 2.4 versions).  So far so good.

I added GatherMate and the GatherMate_Data.  I then imported the data stored in GatherMate_Data.  After the import, the "mini-map" area (not the actual mini-map of WoW... Carbonite's version), the ores are blinking in a circular pattern.  On the right side of the screen, the ore icons are also blinking and in a vertical line-up.

I logged off and logged back in..

GatherMate is ok by loading the Alternate Menu and I believe the Carbonite Map, also has the notes.

The behavior of the Carbonite Mini-Map is still the same as well as the icons on the right hand side of the screen.

I'm using the latest version of GatherMate and GatherMate_Data.

It doesn't stop my game play but, it would be nice to see if it can be fixed.

    Yes, I'm using Carbonite 1.64.

    Update:

I detached the WoW Mini-map out of the Carbonite Mini-map and the blinking ores are no longer appears.

And it seems, GatherMate and Routes are working ok if the mini-map is detached from Carbonite's mini-map.

I do like Carbonite's mini-map and I find I'm looking at that more than WoW's mini-map as it has the map feature.

I did loose the row of mini-map buttons on the right-side of the screen which I did like.  Now, with the WoW mini-map detached, all of the mini-map buttons are around the mini-map.

I guess I can try Chinchilla.

GatherMate is probably drawing icons on the minimap, which means they get moved into the Carb map with the minimap, but probably need some code to make them transfer correctly. I added GatherMate support to the todo list.

Can't wait for this. Well and for data import as well - it's not fun to re-gather all stuff again to have it marked.

Any update on this? I just signed up for carbonite today and this was one of the things I was hoping to do.

GatherMate icons are properly drawn on the minimap in the Carb map.

You probably mean the data import? I will try to get to it sooner than later.

    Hi there :)

now i cant live without this carbonite addon -.- but well you add the Gatherdata import button to carbonite map, as you know after WOTLK alot of herbs are missing or not yet implemented in carbonite , however gathermate_data got almost all the herbs !

i hope you will be able to do that soon

Yesterday I added a CarboniteNodes addon that will be in the zip file of the next version. It has thousands of predefined Herbalism and Mining node locations from many user submitted Carbonite.lua files. It seems to be very complete for most areas except for Northrend, where it has limited data. This is a load on demand addon that you import data from. You use import on the Guide options page, the same as you do with Cartographer nodes.

The same Carbonite.lua file in the WTF folder that is used to submit quest data also has your gathered node locations. If you follow the instructions here, you can submit that file, so we can fill in the missing Northrend locations.

    Thx

Gathermate data import would be awesome... I removed cartographer and use gathermate with carbonite since gathermate has much better gathering data support.
