We will be adding support to Carbonite for the expansion. Versions of Carbonite that work with WotLK will be released before WotLK ships and updates will be made available as usual to fix problems and deal with Blizzard patching the game.

Carbonite version 1.80 is released with support for WotLK beta servers.

Every few days of play on the beta server, we could use your files to collect game information. The file we need is the Carbonite.lua file in the SavedVariables folder. The cache files in Cache\WDB\enUS folder are also useful. The files would be sent to db@carboniteaddon.com.

We would appreciate any submission of those files you can make.

Is Carbonite unlinked from the master toon for the beta?  My toon was unable to obtain its old name in the beta (and it is impossible to login via the beta client to my "Carbonite character").

I'm playing on the EU beta server (Coldarra) and it's still asking me to validate on my too in my natiive server...

Some help ?

 

Probably because your "SET realmList" in Config.wtf is different from the US one. What value does yours have?

What are the names of the beta realms you can login to?

I'll get an eye at config.wtf when i get back at home (at work atm) but in Europa we got only one server for the beta test which is called Coldarra if it can help you.

The version which i play on is enGB (not enUS as yours)

Nope. CB is not working on EU Betaserver.

And, what about the german wotlk Betaclient?

Since on EU BETA we got only one server, isn't it the same ?

 I am new to Carbonite but I do have access to the beta and I am logging as much stuff as I can.  Any ETA on a database update for the beta client?  Just curious no pressure ;)
