Very simple comment.

 Can you please keep the NEWS section updated for any new downloads we might have?

 Unless I am doing it the long way, and maybe there is any easier way, I have to login, go to d/l to see if there is an update.  You can not gain access to d/l accept if you are logged in.

If we can just zip in to the website, check NEWS for any new posting, and not have to login, that would be great.

 The version text on the home page is the most obvious place and is always updated just after a new version is uploaded. The color is changed for each new version and we also started adding the date a few weeks ago. The news page is usually the last place to get updated and web stats show it is visited much less that the home page.

"Version 1.641 is now available for patch 2.4. (March 27)"

I missed your recent addition of the date on the version on the front page.
